Hoya is a South Korean rapper, dancer and actor who debuted in 2010 as a member of Infinite, and of its sub-unit Infinite H, staying with both until he left the group in 2017. He started acting in Reply 1997 (2012) and went on to She's So Lovable (2014), Mask (2015), Radiant Office and Two Cops (both 2017), Devilish Joy (2018), Hip-Hop King: Nasty Street (2019) and Check-in Hanyang (2024); the film Hiya (2015) won him Best New Actor at the 36th Golden Cinematography Awards. He released his first solo EP, Shower, in 2018, served in the army from February 2019 to December 2020, and has since joined the dance crew Mbitious. In Reply 1997 he played Kang Jun Hee, the sweet, popular boy who confides in Shi Won that he is in love with his best friend Yoon Jae.
