Jung Woo, born Kim Jung Guk, is a South Korean actor who spent the 2000s in supporting parts before the film Wish (2009) won him Best New Actor at the Grand Bell Awards. 2013 changed things: You Are the Best! brought him a KBS Best New Actor award, and Reply 1994 made him a lead — the part took Best New Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards and an Excellence Award at the APAN Star Awards. He has since appeared in C'est Si Bon and The Himalayas (both 2015), New Trial (2017) and Hot Blooded (2022), and in the dramas Mad for Each Other (2021), Mental Coach Jegal (2022) and Miraculous Brothers (2023). He married the actress Kim Yoo Mi in January 2016, having met her on the film Red Family. In Reply 1994 he played Sseureki, the third-year medical student who has grown up alongside Na Jung more or less as a brother — and sang "Only Feeling You" for the soundtrack with Yoo Yeon Seok and Son Ho Jun.
