Kwak Jung Wook is a South Korean actor who started as a child actor in 1998 and won Best Young Actor at the 2002 SBS Drama Awards for Rustic Period. He has worked steadily since — Queen Seon Duk (2009), White Christmas (2011), Shut Up Flower Boy Band and School 2013 (both 2012), The Blade and Petal (2013), Darkness (2014) and Life on Mars (2018) — and appeared in the films My Way (2011) and Mourning Grave (2014). He served in the army from May 2015 to February 2017. He came close to a different career altogether: he was in line to debut as a member of Infinite. In School 2013 he played Oh Jung Ho, who runs the school corridor by force — the shoot on which he met Park Se Young, who played Song Ha Kyung and whom he married in February 2022.
