Park Bo Young is a South Korean actress and model who debuted in the EBS series Secret Campus (2006) and became a star with the comedy Scandal Makers (2008), the highest-grossing Korean film of its year; her performance as a teenage mother won several best-new-actress awards and the nickname "the nation's little sister". A dispute with her management then kept her off screen until Don't Click and A Werewolf Boy (both 2012), the latter drawing more than seven million admissions. She played Na Bong Sun in Oh My Ghost (2015) — her first leading role in a drama, which made her the highest-paid actress in tvN's history at the time and won her Best Actress at the APAN Star Awards — then Strong Girl Bong-soon (2017), which set a cable ratings record, and the film On Your Wedding Day (2018). Later work includes Doom at Your Service (2021), Concrete Utopia and Daily Dose of Sunshine (both 2023), Light Shop (2024) and Our Unwritten Seoul (2025).
