Yoo Seung Ho is a South Korean actor and model who was cast off a photograph his mother sent in, appearing in a mobile phone advertisement in 1999 when the agency wanted a new face rather than a professional model. He began acting at seven and became a star with his first film, The Way Home (2002), as a spoiled city boy sent to spend the summer with his deaf-mute grandmother — a low-budget picture that drew more than four million admissions and earned him the nickname "Korea's little brother". Adult roles followed in Master of Study (2010), Warrior Baek Dong Soo (2011) and Remember (2015-2016), where he played the lawyer Seo Jin Woo, then The Emperor: Owner of the Mask (2017), I'm Not a Robot (2017-2018), My Strange Hero (2018-2019) and Moonshine (2021-2022). He served in the military from March 2013 to December 2014.
