Hyun Bin has acted since 2003 and became a star with My Name is Kim Sam Soon (2005), then Secret Garden (2010), for which he also sang the theme "That Man". He served twenty-one months in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps from 2011 to 2012, and came back to Hyde, Jekyll, Me (2015), the films Confidential Assignment (2017) and The Swindlers (2017), and Yoo Jin Woo in Memories of the Alhambra (2018). Crash Landing on You (2019) paired him with Son Ye Jin, whom he married in 2022.
