Synopsis

At 17, Tae Woong, a mathematics prodigy, meets the two people who will become the people he loves: one becomes his best friend, the other his first love.

Tae Woong's best friend, Kim Jeong Kyu, is considered a genius in his own right, and the two compete for academic honours. After Tae Woong beats him at an international mathematics olympiad, Jeong Kyu takes his own life. Around the same time Tae Woong meets a girl who falls in love with him, only to lose touch with her without ever learning her name. Those two tragedies shape the rest of his life.

Eight years later, at 25, Tae Woong is a third-rate boxer, and an unexpected turn of events brings him face to face with Bo Ra — the girl he once knew. The winter ahead will be a bitter one, but winter is not the end of a season so much as the beginning of a hope for a greater love.
