Kim So Hyun is a South Korean actress and model, born in Australia to a family that moved to Korea in 2003. She started acting at seven — and sang in the children's group 4Angels at eight — becoming well enough known as a child performer to be nicknamed the "queen of child actors". Her breakthroughs were the young villain who becomes queen in The Moon That Embraces the Sun (2012) and the melodrama Missing You (2013). She took her first leading role as the twins Lee Eun Bi and Go Eun Byeol in Who Are You: School 2015, which won her Star of the Year at the Korea Drama Awards, and went on to The Emperor: Owner of the Mask (2017), The Tale of Nokdu (2019), Netflix's Love Alarm (2019-2021), River Where the Moon Rises (2021), which brought her a Baeksang nomination, and Good Boy (2025).
