Lee Won Geun is a South Korean actor and model who made his acting debut in the period drama The Moon That Embraces the Sun (2012). He took his first leading role as Kim Yeol, president of the elite Baek Ho club, in Cheer Up! (2015), and won Best Actor in the Directors Week strand of the Oporto International Film Festival for the North Korean defector drama The Net (2016). Other work includes the film Misbehavior (2017) and the dramas Jugglers (2017) and One the Woman (2021). He served in the compulsory police service from June 2019 to January 2021.
