Shin So Yool is a South Korean actress who started in film in 2007 with Shadows in the Palace and My Love, and has built a career largely on supporting roles across both screens — Penny Pinchers (2011), My PS Partner (2012), Gyeongju (2014), A Violent Prosecutor (2016) and On Your Wedding Day (2018). On television she has appeared in Tree with Deep Roots (2011), Cheongdamdong Alice (2012), Love & Secret (2014), which won her an Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards, The Black Knight (2017), Big Issue (2019) and Bitter Sweet Hell (2024). In Reply 1997 (2012) she played Mo Yoo Jung, Shi Won's best friend and partner in crime — until she defects to Sechs Kies, which Shi Won never quite forgives.
