Chun Ho Jin is a South Korean actor who began his career in 1983 after auditioning at MBC and came to wide notice with the KBS drama Love on a Jujube Tree, which won him the 1992 Baeksang Arts Award for Best New Actor. Over four decades he has become one of Korea's most familiar character actors, playing Kimura Taro in Bridal Mask (2012) and the dynasty's founder Lee Sung Gye in Six Flying Dragons (2015-2016). The family dramas My Golden Life (2017) and Once Again (2020), both of which passed 30% in the ratings, earned him the nickname "the nation's father" and a KBS Drama Awards Grand Prize apiece. His film work includes 2009 Lost Memories (2002), I Saw the Devil (2010) and Veteran (2015). He is the son of Chun Gyu-deok, a first-generation Korean professional wrestler.
