Synopsis
A serial killer is working through women who all look alike, and the Special Crime Investigation Team has nothing. Then Lee Hyun turns up at the scene — a criminal profiler flown in from the United States on the strength of an anonymous email — and reads the killer off the room in a glance.
The clues are addressed to him. Hyun grew up under a police inspector father who locked him in a small room to keep his mind from turning, and who was murdered; his younger brother vanished the same night, and so did the prisoner everyone called a monster. He has no memory of any of it. Detective Cha Ji An remembers all of it, having watched him since they were children, but he does not know who she is.
It rated poorly and was liked anyway, for the story and for the cast — Park Bo Gum above all, who came out of it with Best Supporting Actor and the Popularity Award at the KBS Drama Awards.
